From a very young age, Alondra Esther Pérez found fulfillment in the arts. She learned there is a world of possibilities while watching Glee, telenovelas and forcing her sisters to act out her own scenes. Alondra takes a lot of pride in being the only artist in the family.

Alondra fueled this fire by joining her elementary school’s choir and remained in choir for her entire grade school career. In high school, Alondra also pursued musical theater and acting, participating in the Florida State Thespian Festivals and Orlando Fringe.

Her unwavering and incessant passion for performance and creation led her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Theatre at The Boston Conservatory. Immersed in a rich artistic environment, Alondra learned about her love for writing and thrived as a collaborative writer and deviser, and eventually, directing. She eagerly absorbed the diverse influences of her professors and peers while forging her unique artistic voice influenced by her Latin-American roots and upbringing.

Following graduation, Alondra will be relocating to Chicago to make a start in the theatre industry and hone in on her writing. She intends to apply to graduate school for playwrighting in the Fall of 2024.

When Alondra isn’t being super invested in theatre stuff, she can be found hanging out with her cat she got from Facebook, Piña, and dabbling in visual arts and media.
