I always had a vision and something to say.

Theatre and film gave me the outlet to share my artistry and advocacy. Below is some of my work!

Daughtertrucker

For her Senior Capstone, Alondra wrote and directed her first onstage production of Daughtertrucker (like motherfucker but for girls with truck driver dads.)

Daughtertrucker follows three sisters—Esther, Cristina, and Mercedes—after two deaths in their family. Over the course of a week, scenes of this sisterhood unfold and reveal a damaged but generous dynamic among young women experiencing grief for the first time in their lives.

Examining the weight of absence in various degrees, Daughtertrucker begs the questions: What does grief look like? How do we mourn the loss of a person we never had? What is a sister? How do we live with them? How could we ever live without them?

Sinkhole

Sinkhole is a fully staged workshop production at the Boston Conservatory: An original play written by Lucas Boniface with direction by Alondra Perez and Lucas Boniface.

When a bottomless pit opens up in the woods of Chalk Creek, South Dakota, the unreal begins to infect. Tom, Arthur, Max, and Chris have been making the woods their playground for years; but after a boy goes missing they grow more and more alienated from the small catholic town they once knew. How do 4 middle school boys react when life starts to feel more and more like one long scary story?
